A:No, the DNR-202L supports mydlink™ cameras only.

Q:Can I use the D-Link DNR-202L recorder with more than 4 cameras?

A:You can setup up to 8 cameras with the DNR-202L but can only record up to 4 cameras simultaneously.

Q:Can I search for recorded video based on motion detected?

A:Yes, in the View Recorded Files window, the date and time with motion or sound recordings will be highlighted in blue.

Q:What browsers are supported for viewing my DNR-202L remotely?

A:The following browser are fully suppported, Internet Explorer 8, Firefox, Chrome, or Safari 5. Other browser may also work but are not fully supported.

Q:What happens when a drive is un-mounted (disconnected from the DNR-202L)?

A:When a drive is un-mounted or disconnected, the DNR-202L will beep and continue recording to the second disks automatically if one is available.

Q:When using the DNR-202L, Is it possible to use the two USB drives at the same time with 4 cameras sources, 2 in each drive?

A:No, all the cameras will be recorded to the drive “A” first and then the drive “B” when the drive “A” is full.
