D-Link wireless USB adapter install drivers and connect to a wireless network(DWA-130 as an example)
Step 1: Right click on My Computer and select Manage.
Step 2: In the left window pane select Device Manager and in the right window pane right click on Network Adapters and select Scan for hardware changes.
Step 3: Device Manager will begin scanning for hardware.
Step 4: A Found New Hardware Wizard will pop up. Select No, not at this time and click Next.
Step 5: Select Install from a list or a specific location(Advanced) and click Next.
Step 6: Search for best drivers in these locations. Select Include this location in the search and click on Browse.
Note: Assuming you have the driver on your Desktop this is where you would go to Browse for the driver and click OK.
Step 7: Select the latest driver and click Next.
Step 8:The wizard will begin installing software.
Step 9: Click Finish.
Step 10: Wilress Networks should be detected in the system tray. Double click the icon to connect to a wireless network.
Step 11: Select the desired Network name (SSID) and click Connect.
