Step 1 Click on Start and select Run.
Step 2 Type cmd then click OK.
Step 3 From the Command Prompt, enter ipconfig. It will return your IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway.
Windows Vista and 7
Step 1 Click on Start, type in cmd in the search field and hit enter .
Step 2 The command prompt window will open. Type in ipconfig and hit enter.
Step 3 It will return your IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway.

I have 4 laptops at home connecting to my DX-Dir615 and my router is ARRIS by Cox. however 3 of my laptops use vista and connect well and the only one unable to connect is windows XP and I get a message Network will not assign IP address. I get limited or no access. Need help!
