Push notifications are enabled on the D-Link DCH-S161 by default.

To test your water sensor for push notifications, dip the probe into water for 15 to 20 seconds. The sensor will power on, connect to your Wi-Fi and then send push notifications to your device. This may take approximately 15 to 20 seconds.

NOTE: When in power saving mode, the device is still functional. The device will automatically wake-up as soon as water is detected.
