The following example is using an iPhone. The steps will be similar with Android devices. If you want to stream the live video of the camera to your TV you will need Chromecast connected to your TV.

 

Note: Currently only the DCS-8000LH, DCS-8010LH, DCS-8300LH, DCS-8525LH, DCS-936L, and DCS-5030L cameras are supported on Google Assistant.

 


 

Step 1: Launch the Google Assistant app.

 

Step 2: Tap the icon in the top right corner.

 

 

Step 3: Tap the 3 dots in the upper right corner.

 

 

Step 4: Tap Settings.

 

 

Step 5: Tap Home Control.

 

 

Step 6: Tap + in the bottom right corner to add a device.

 

 

Step 7: Find mydlink Smart in the menu and select it.

 

 

Step 8: Enter your mydlink credentials and tap Sign In.

 

 

Once done, mydlink Smart will appear in the Linked Services.

 

Step 9: Tap the back button.

 

 

Step 10: Tap the Devices tab and then tap on your camera.

 

 

Step 11: Tap the pencil icon to set a Nickname for the camera. Tap OK.

 

 

Step 12: Tap the back button.

 

 

Step 13: Tap Rooms.

 

 

– Tap + and select a room.

 

 

Step 14: Select the camera to add to the room and Tap Done.

 

 

You can now use voice commands to stream the live video to your TV.

 

Note: This requires a Chromecast connected to your TV. 

 

You can say: Hey Google, What”s on the “device name”

Requirements:
– iPad or iPhone
– Latest version of mydlink Home app installed from the app store

Step 1 – Open the mydlink Home app. Tap the settings icon to access the menu.

Step 2 – Tap “Add new device”

Step 3 – Tap “Scan” to scan the QR code and add your DCH-G020


Step 4 – Follow the on-screen steps to plug an ethernet into your device, and into your router.

Step 5 – Power on the device and wait for the power LED to turn green.

Step 6 – The app will search for your device. Once found, you will be prompted to name your device, and given the opportunity to change the icon associated with it. Click “Done” to end the wizard, and return to a list of your devices.

Step 1: Tap the Settings icon on the home screen of your iPhone.

Step 2: Tap to open the Wi-Fi settings.

Step 3: Select the wireless network you want to connect by tapping the network name from the list.

Step 4: If you have a Wi-Fi password configured on your router, enter the password and tap Join.

Step 5: The iPhone is now connected to your wireless network.

Step 6: Tap the arrow button to go to the connection settings page and confirm that the iPhone has received an IP address.

You can charge your iPhone and Android phones when you are on the go with the D-Link DIR-510L.

Step 1. Selec the “Charger” position on the schitch Mode slider, make sure the DIR-510L is either charged (Green LED indicator) or plugged in. (If the battery LED is red, you need to charge the DIR-510L.)

Step 2. Plug your Smartphone into one of  the USB ports on the DIR-510L.*

*Note: Use USB port 1A (1000 mA) for charging other mobile devices, like tablets. Please refer to product specifications for USB charging requirements.

 

To determind how much change is left on your DIR-510L see the Battery LED indicator color:
