Note: SharePort Mobile functionality is only available in Access Point mode.
Step 1: Insert your USB Flash Drive into your router
Step 2: Log into your router:
Open a web browser and enter http://dlinkap.local in the address bar. Windows XP users can also enter http://dlinkap.
Step 3: Enter your Administrator password in the Password field. If you have not changed this from the default setting, leave this field blank. Click Login.
Step 4: Click the Setup tab at the top of the page and then click Storage from the menu on the left-hand side.
Step 5: Check the Enable SharePort Web Access box, and then click Save Settings.Download the SharePort Mobile app from the App Store or Google Play. You can also scan the QR codes below using your smartphone’s QR code scanner.
Step 6: Ensure your mobile device is connected to the wireless signal of your SharePort supported router.
Step 7: Launch the SharePort Mobile app; the following screen will appear.
Step 8: Tap the settings icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
Step 9: Enter your username and password. The username and password are the same as those used to access the web configuration interface for your access point.
Note: By default the username is set to “admin” with no password.
Step 10: Change the port if required (by default it is configured at port 8181 within the router configuration.
Note: If accessing content over Internet, enter the IP or domain address of your router; if accessing locally, this field will be filled in automatically.
SharePort Mobile is successfully configured and your USB media should now be accessible.
